great Guide, Charlie. I’d like to Add hiking up Mount Merapi to your list -it’s not for the faint-hearted or those without stamina, but you can arrange a Hike with a guide up one of the most dangerous, active volcanoes in the world. they will pick you up in town around midnight & drive you an hour to the base camp for a 4-5 hour hike up in time for sunrise which is one of the most breathtaking sites I have ever seen (weather dependent!) anywhere in the world.

In reply to Agness of a Tuk Tuk. Hey Agness! I'd recommend spending at least five days in Yogyakarta -- but there's more to do if you have time. We spent two full weeks there and only left because our VISA ran out!

Such a nice place and a very nice post! Really loved the pictures in Borobudur and Prambanan, they both looked stunning, such a beautiful place. Vegetarian foods from . MIla’s Restaurant looks so delicious! Bonus thing is that it is healthy. Also the beautiful Greenhost Boutique Hotel, it feels relaxing since it is surrounded by lots of green plants. A very nice place to relax after a nice massage. Again thanks for sharing!
