Hello Charlie! what a pitty you didn´t enter in Lo que hay café! you ring the bell, they open the door and you find out an amazing garden with an illuminated swimming pool :) really cool place and relatively cheap! i am greek living in merida and i goo there a lot!

There is a new place that opened a few months ago called Distrito Vegano. It’s a casual food truck located in fransisco de Montejo. It has really good food, a fixed menu of burgers tacos and tortas but the chef does a special that changed every 2 weeks. The chef specials are usually very good. It’s slowfood served fast because they homemade everything, even the hamburger bread is sourdough. I was honestly impressed.

Also there is a new brewery called la Linda Merida that has vegan options on the menu. It’s a great place for a brew with a mixed group of friends. Everyone can eat what they like. I ate a beet burger and it wasn’t bad, I give it a solid 3.7. The amazing beer keeps taking me back though.
