Definitely we are going to visit Matka lake for one day. And now is comming my question :) do you thing we shoud stay for the rest 2 days in Skopje, or we should take a one day round trip to Ohrid lake? I know it is around 3 hours by bus, but still.

Thanks Frank, glad you found it useful! I’m so keen to go Croatic, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Montenegro and Romania – and all the other countries in that area of the world, to be honest! Macedonia is great, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who likes the outdoors in particular :)

It’s such a cool city, one of the weirdest I’ve ever visited! I mean all these sculptures!!! I’m hoping to be back there in May and this time I have to go to the Vodno Mountain as I missed it last time! And the food was just so great in Skopje, I loved it! Ah, now you made me miss the city really badly!
