Thanks, glad to hear that you enjoyed! Taiwan is beautiful and I would totally recommend travelling there in the summer (misty weather can make hiking and national parks harder to explore). Actually, I guess I find getting used to life in Taiwan a little easier because I was in a couple and having the support of someone else really makes the difference, but we didn’t settle and find good friends, favourite eating places, the best markets until about 9 months in. It really is a long process!

I’ve never been to Taiwan so it is interesting to hear your take on the place. 9 months to settle in is quite a while but shows great commitment and perseverance.

It sounds like your teaching classes are a lot of fun. I don’t think I’d enjoy kids trying to correct me all the time but I guess that Jimmy is quite the character?
