We spent a rainy afternoon exploring the lower trails and honestly, the rainy weather made Taroko look even cooler. The waterfalls on the cliffs became massive, and the low clouds hanging in between the peaks gave the entire canyon a super dramatic, moody look.

Thank you for taking me on a trip down memory lane!:) I will always remember Green Island as one of the most wonderful places that I have ever visited, but then I think it’s also the company that you keep on some of these trips which bring back such happy memories.

Ooh, Taiwan has always been on my list, but I think it just moved up a couple notches! I’ve spent a fair amount of time in mainland China and would really love to compare the two. I have a feeling Taiwan might be the perfect combination of all the things I love about China without all the things I hate.
