Hi Zohaib, thanks for your message. We contacted Salo Mer on Facebook to arrange a private driver with him. Here is his Facebook URL – https://www.facebook.com/salomervich If you give him a message, he will let you know if he’s able to organise a car and driver. He was excellent and efficient. You’re right, the driver drives you there and then waits whilst you go up to see the butterflies (usually 1-2 hours depending on how fast you hike and how long you would like to admire the butterflies). You agree an approximate time you’ll be back with your driver. The price of the driver waiting for you is included in the price and the amount of time agreed beforehand. Enjoy your trip!

My brother and I are trying to go to El Rosario Reserve in November coming up and wanted to know if you could share information in regards to hiring a private driver/ car for the day. Also, how would it work- does the driver drive us there and then wait for the duration we are there or is there a scheduled time to return? Any information would be much appreciated!
