We’re Charlie and Luke, house and pet sitters with more than five years experience. We’ll look after your home and pets whilst you’re away and we promise we’ll care for them as well as you do.
We’re based in Brighton, UK and have been travelling together for over 10 years after meeting at university in Exeter. We house sit internationally and love to travel. We’ve looked after homes and pets in the UK, Mexico, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama.
We both work remotely, full-time in the marketing sector. This does mean we need a good internet connection wherever we’re house sitting. We love animals (yes, both cats and dogs!) and are always excited by the opportunity to spend time furry friends. We also love hiking, reading and cooking.

OUR PREVIOUS HOUSE AND PET SITS
Here are some of our previous house and pet sits around the world. We’ve pet sat for as many as 13 dogs, so we’re not afraid to have our hands full! We’ve looked after homes and pets in city centres, small towns and even out in the jungle of Costa Rica.
House & Pet Sit in Antigua, Guatemala
We had the pleasure of pet sitting for a beautiful husky and a rescued street dog.We walked the dogs every morning in the local neighbourhood, and played ball in the garden in the afternoons.
House & Pet Sit in Merida, Mexico
We had two back-to-back house sits in Merida during July. For our first house sit, we pet sat for two adorable kittens in an old colonial house in Merida’s Santiago neighbourhood. Our second house sit was located in Santa Ana where we looked after one very shy cat and one very dominant cat. We took care of cleaning the swimming pools at both houses.
House & Pet Sit on Ometepe Island, Nicaragua
We house sat one lively puppy and 2 cats on Ometepe Island. We also helped out with watering and taking care of the garden where the homeowners grow sweet potatoes, yuca and pigeon peas.
House & Pet Sit in Puriscal, Costa Rica
We house sat in a family home in the mountains surrounding San Jose on multiple occasions. We looked after 13 dogs and 1 cat. We even wrote about what an amazing experience we had house sitting in Costa Rica.

Tell me more about you?
We’re Charlie and Luke. We’re both from the UK originally and we met when we were at Exeter University together. We’re both 32 years old and have been house sitting for more than five years. We’ve been travelling together for almost ten years and before that we lived abroad in Taiwan. We work in online marketing and management, and have full-time remote jobs.
Do you like animals?
Yes! We LOVE animals. Animals are close to our hearts and we both had family pets when we were growing up. We once had a pet sit where we looked after 13 dogs! We’ve had the pleasure of looking after some gorgeous animals during our house sits. All of the photos on this page are of the gorgeous pets we’ve looked after.
Where do you work?
We both work in online marketing full-time. Our job is location-independent, so we can work anywhere in the world, provided that we have reliable internet access. We work from our house sits, which means we’ll be with your pets and looking after your home all day. We love to go out for walks in our breaks, so it’s perfect if you have a dog! We have mostly flexible working hours so are able to manage looking after pets as and when needed.
What do you do in your free time?
We enjoy a quiet life and like to travel slowly. We spend our time learning Spanish, cooking vegetarian food and hiking whenever we can. We love nature and the outdoors, but we also love to have all the amenities of towns and cities.
Do you do short or long term house sits?
We do both! We are interested in hearing about any house sits, both long and short term ones. Depending on our location and availability we can let you know whether it’s possible for us to house or pet sit for you. We prefer house sits to be a minimum of 7 days.
Will there be a handover period?
This is entirely up to you, but we like to have a day before the house sit or at least a few hours of crossover, so that you can get to know us. It also helps us to make sure we can take care of your home and pets exactly how you want us to. We’ll always make some notes so that we don’t forget anything!
Do you drive?
Yes, we both have a full, clean UK driver’s license. We also lived in Taiwan for a year and are used to driving scooters on Asian roads!
Do you smoke?
No, we are both non-smokers.
You’re vegetarian. Will you still feed my dog bones?
Yes, no problem. We’ll feed your pets exactly the same as you do. Just let us know what they usually eat and when, and we will follow the same routine. We don’t mind giving meat and bones to dogs – just as long as we don’t have to eat it! ;)
