Hi Leah – well, we were surprised too! I’m not sure if it’s just because this budget is only for Bocas del Toro? How much did you spend per day when in Panama? Also we didn’t find that much street food around (perhaps because we’re vegetarians?) though we ate in twice a day. Hopefully we will find the rest of Panama a bit cheaper. We’re in Boquete now, but we’re house sitting and mostly eating in, so it’s not really a good reflection on costs. We should find out next month when we’re travelling around Panama though!
